The damage waiver is included too. If there's an accident, TŌNORI pays the insurance excess, so you normally pay nothing extra.

The non-operation charge (NOC)

A fixed charge towards the time the car can't be rented while it's repaired or cleaned after an accident, damage, theft or heavy soiling. It applies whoever was at fault and isn't covered by the damage waiver. If nothing happens, it doesn't apply.

Smoking, strong smells or heavy soiling	¥20,000 + cleaning cost

For example, a scrape while parked that needs repair counts too. Normal wear doesn't. If you notice a mark, tell us with your return photos.

When the cover doesn't apply

In these cases insurance and the damage waiver don't apply, and the renter and driver pay for the damage.

• Someone not named on the booking drives
• Drink driving or other illegal use
• An accident not reported to the police and to TŌNORI
• Keeping the car longer without asking, track use, or other uses the terms forbid

Fuel (return full), extra mileage, parking fines and a lost key are charged as set out in the rental terms and price list.
